…and so what if that is the case?

Are people’s parents who happen to be wealthy not allowed to help their kids out? Are they just to sit with all their cash in the bank and watch them struggle? Is that what you’d do as a wealthy parent?

What point are you trying to make here? You’re just coming across as sad and bitter. I actually enjoy reading this place but you stand out like a sore thumb with your constant stream of negativity.

Can you just cheer up and try being nice for once? Cry

Sounds like they are thinking about thinking making sellers pay stamp rather than buyers.

If that’s the case it’ll likely end up in higher asking prices to cover the cost

they usually pay anyway. this way they can tell prospective buyers of other properties in the development "well this one sold for X…."

What about the argument I have already paid stamp duty to buy my house, now you also want it again to sell it ? Double stamp

Houses in Australia now cost at the low end 15 times my annual income. When my dad was in his 20s and bought his first house they cost 4 times his annual income. How the fuck do people buy a house today without help from parents? (my parents have never helped me with anything except food and a bed until I was 18, I'm proud of that despite my debt and relative poverty) but to talk about how you just casually bought a house in this thread and not mention parental support is dishonest. I dunno maybe it's different in England and houses are still affordable for the average dude.

They're not plastic, they're metal and are better than kids or whatever the fuck you have. My US Marine rifle platoon is always loyal, never dies and only cost a fraction of your dumb family.

Because of MD I had access to high quality music dubs from waaay early, I'll never ditch my minidiscs, part of history and on my current system still sound really good, better than they ever have actually. Better than your gay ass Sonos streaming blutooth fucking bullshit.
