I only have the USPS tracking number. It didn't work. Found a number to call will give that a try. Cheers

Try the Royal Mail site then. A USPS tracking number should work in one of those sites as either Royal Mail or Parcelforce will be handling the item in the UK

I contacted them using the tel number on the Royal Mail website. Getting the item redelivered Saturday. Took 3 mins for the entire call 5 seconds to answer. Pretty impressed except for the lack of card on the original delivery attempt.

I'm about to order something from the Saks website, it gives you the option to pay a pre-specified amount for the item (over a third of the cost of it), or pay on delivery.

They use DHL - if I go for the latter will I still definitely get stung? Assume it could get held up for days if I don't pay in advance?

No, maybe the customs will think its a gift from your little old auntie in alabama that you are paying for on delivery.

sorry should've made it clearer - I'm only talking about duties and taxes.

I can only assume it will get charged if they mark the actual value of the product on the customs form, which they most likely will do.

Have they got any choice whatsoever when its pay on delivery and all the figures will be everywhere? Mad question imo.

Thought things slip through sometimes (no homo). Anyway took the risk, probably stupid.

DHL are one of the worst, they always get their money.
