can anyone help me out here, ive got a day out tomorrow from 9am till about 7pm in the outdoors, marquees etc…im wearing a black suit and tie and that ,but its gonna piss down nearly all the day going on the weather reports..ive got a beige waterproof classic mac and a beige waterproof peacoat, the only coats that i have that are thin and lightweight enuff for the summer and suitable to wear with a suit outfit…will either go with the black suit, or shall i just leave it and deal with the rain, cos coats can be a pain in the arse when it aint freezing as well, my heads hurting.
any opinion would be of help to me.

beige and black don't work. I guess you mean ascot. Umbrella is just as bad as a coat, although there will be cloak rooms.

i would rather ride the favourite in the 3.45 naked with a cucumber attached to the saddle than carry a brolly…so not my style man.
remember i told you already, man dems dun carry brolly.

I'd just leave it Nobes (take an umbrella maybe), even if it rains it'll still be too warm for a coat.
Once you get a few pints in you you won't care anyway.
