i think the stuff that i can see in that little picture look blinding…dun think the logos changed has it, its just added handles etc to spoice up the usual l.v.
which is a great idea and can only be a plus imo.

@fan - as opposed to just sticking a load more handles on a speedy?

There are several Murakami paintings coming up for auction in September at Sothebys most of which the estimates are £400,000 to £700,000

In this article I was reading, one of the people at Sotheby's as saying they were getting more interest and enquiries into the Murakami than the Damien Hirst in the same auction.

EssexBoyII wrote: Just because I love the individual brands, it doesn't mean I have to instantly think a combination of the two is mind blowing. Just look at the bags on Hypebeast. I think if they let Rei Kawakubo loose on the LV monogram it will just be a little too much. I would like to see a collabo with the Play line as it's a little more toned down.

I hope you're joking - play is tourist fodder. The LV stuff will more likely echo the Rolling Stones collection. And what can be more 'too much' than a LV monogram?!! Smiling

I know it wouldn't be anything ground-breaking but I think I'd prefer the results. I don't feel the monogram is too much. I think it's a very restrained considering it's an all over print and with a slight twist aka the MJ multi-coloured bags it could look good however Rei will go overboard. Just my opinion. For example, the bags that were posted earlier with the camo over the top. Gross.

All will use the Monogram toile, with the LV initials, and the offerings will hark back to the styles of 30 years when Vuitton made only bags and leather goods.
