Bumped into Michael Koppelmann when I was in Hideout yesterday, could've asked him then and there haha. Had a passing thought of asking to arrange an interview after stepping outside the store, never mind, next time.

went to Gap today to load up with baby clothes using robii's 30 point voucher. stuck my head in the mens and the leather jacket in there is actually quite (£245) and fit me like a dream - better than the £1250 Neil Barrett one I got in Harrods sale…
Also nice was the ribbed, knitted zip hoody with zipped pockets (£39.50).
Very impressed with both items even though I've never bought anything from Gap before.

cut is better and leather is better than h and m for the same price…
give it 3 months and the gap leather will be down to 70 too…

I won't be buying either but was impressed with the cut and fit of each. if only they (or any of the high st), could get their designs up to scratch.
Next and gee2 made really good clothee and designs 20 yrs ago.

the m65? the leather is nice but the fit is awful, baggy arms and very short - £265 is a little pricey too

the fit on me was absolutely perfect.
gee2 used to do the patterned round neck jumpers, influenced by armani, which was the most exclusive brand, incredibly expensive (£120 for a jumper in 1985) and only available in a couple of shops in London. worn with a 'top button' shirt, which you always wore done right up. some wore a 'brooch' to cover the top button.

Needing some plain white trainers for going out in. Any suggestions?
