speeding fine

work have told me i got caught speeding 18 monthes ago, and the dvla (even though they knew we had moved offices) send the fine to our old place, they have only just tracked us down now and have issued a summons and a 500 note fine, we are of course contesting that we never received the initial fine, is there any way ill be able to wriggle out of the 3 points ? (a geezer in the office reakons that fines must be sent to the correct place within a much shorter time scale, or otherwise could be invlaid ?)

as above. Get your co to fight it on your behalf. The NIP needs to be delivered in 14 days for it to stand so how it's taken this long for them to get it to your co is laughable.

accounts are sorting it, they are useless cunts as well though (i dont know if it matters, but my driving licence has an old adress on it from afew years ago, the car however is registered with work, and all fines etc normally come through to the office)

also mate you might need to be careful about having your old address on your licence the DVLA can fine you up to £1000 for not keeping your details up to date, so you might want to get that sorted sooner rather than later just in case it gets to court and these details may come to light if you do have to have points added to your licence.

They dont pro-actively look for wrong details, but if you get pulled and the police are being cunts, and by the book they could do it.

sorry man, didnt see it…i would say my heads gone, ive got a lot of problems from something that happened to me in the past and i couldnt ever take the responsibilty and pain that comes with a relationship, i would be the worst person to be with cos i cant open up or show feelings, and i like you far to much to ever risk hurting you, just being close and friends is as far as i want to take it cos you deserve better than i can give emotionally…then i would get her pissed up and fill her full of lemon and rodger her to within an inch of her life.

I have got a Halifax 12 months interest free on balance transfers and purchases, does this literally mean for 12 months if for any reason i don't pay the full amount of each month i pay no interest on the balance as long as meet the minimum repayment amount per month ?

Edit: Cheers homer felt abit Oops asking but thanks

Good way to boost your credit rating is to take out a loan with the bank, put the cash somewhere else (some kind of monthly paid high interest account with another bank), wait 3 months and pay it back with the same cash.

The only cost to you is a few months interest, which sometimes you can claim back, so like 5K @ 6.8% interest = ((340/12 * payback period) - interest from the other account).

Like sub £50 - 100 for a massive credit rating boost. Do this once / twice a year for a while before a mortgage and you will get a great deal.
