i actually do. its not someones fault for what family or social surroundings they're born into.

sitting at home watching sky and smoking fags may be their life, but that doesnt make it right. what do you suggest, it just happens generation on generation? i purposely never mentioned that side of it at all, because its complex and will only cause arguements.

anyway, whatevs, im out.

i'll let two of the poshest kids on here defend the people at the bottom of the social ladder. im sure they once read about poor people in the guardian, so are full of insider knowledge

Just to add fuel to the fire

If you are from England go to this site:

http://www.neighbourhood.statistics.gov.uk/dissemination/

Enter your postcode and click for data on your "Lower Layer Super Output Area".

Scroll down to "Indices of Deprivation and Classification".

Click on this and then select the Indices of Deprivation 2004 for Super Output Areas and then the same for 2007 and for 2010.

The second figure in the table ranks your area out of about 33,000 neighbourhoods in England. The higher the number the posher your area.

The results will take into account all the data available for the area immediately around the postcode - usually no more than 30 or 40 streets.

I'm too ashamed to post my score.

Robii's caravan site must be ranked high up though, it's always clean, needs no work doing in it and there's no jobs to create.

I agree, the school I had to go to (because of the catchment area) was terrible

Any idea what data/factors they use to arrive at the figure? Where I live now is ranked a couple of thousand lower than where I lived last year but I live in a much nicer area now, in my opinion.
