£1.47 here and I live 2 minutes from Shells refinery. Surely we should get a discount cause if that place went up we'd be gone.

Seriously though, currently putting £150-200 in for 12 days work a month and pottering around with the family. Mrs maybe £60 a month as she's on maternity leave but is out and about more often. csb

That can't be right, agency workers cost more. I do agency work, the company pays my employer £14/hr for me, and I get £6.25. If I was working for the company itself I'd be on 7 or 8 pound an hour. So it costs more to hire an agency temp.

It does, but then the agency is responsible for their insurance costs, also sick pay and pention not being payed, which is what makes it worth it for the employer, especially in the chemical industry(which I'm in).

A GAMBLING addict who stole more than £13,000 from his former partner and her Alzheimer’s-suffering mum has narrowly avoided going to prison.

Kenneth Wager stole and gambled away a total of £13,457 from the two unsuspecting victims’ bank accounts after getting hold of their cards and PIN numbers.
