Jeremy Thompson on Sky News. "How on earth did they get a bomb into the Terminal?"….
It's good to know Sky News can transport this man to Belgium to be on the scene within an hour or two after the incident so these important questions get answered.

Jean Jullian (or similar) haven't done anything for people to share, I guess. Bit cynical and can't help thinking a bad of illustrators have today been hurriedly trying to com up with something.
End of the day, I think its probably for the best that no one has. It's what they crave, after all.

Good point re: Ankara. It hardly touched the news. Same as the Istanbul blast at blue palace last month.

These terrorists are always Arabs or Africans. Ive never seen a major atrocity where it wasn't. All these Muslims complaining about being scapegoats should do something about it themselves rather than expect the more civilised western world to deal with it. Either that or they're actually sympathic towards terrorism.

What do you think the endgame is for this media agenda? In the short term, they want to sell papers, get viewers to sell advertising etc but in the longer term?
22 Mar 2016 21:49
Depends what media sources you use Smith - and also Belgium are part of the "western modern world" and also part of the EU. Also they have quite a mixed racial and religious demographic same as Paris, same as London. Terrorism has no race or religion regardless but us Brits can resonate more sympathy towards the attacks in Paris and Belgiium because in other parts of the world like the east it's more common so we become numb to the actual situation that has just took place.

Good point…like if it can happen there it can happen here…where somewhere like nigeria etc can be brushed off…not that i'm agreeing that's right

Cracka the current endgame in anything owned by Murdoch, Barclay brothers etc is probably to leverage any story for Brexit angle

So all the pursuit of power and political influence, 'agenda setting' by the media comes down to making more money in future?

In my opinion all these people with zero faith that are going to hell which is basically agnostics, atheists, Muslims and anyone that doesn't recognise Christ are the problem. They allow radicalisation and fundamental extremism steming from their corrupt interpretations of false ideology. Say what you like about Christianity but it definitely doesn't breed bomb laden suicidal maniacs. In fact it promotes unity and to love thy neighbour. Mark 12:31.
