Obama says there's no other country on earth like the US when it comes to mass killings, so they gotta get tougher gun laws there. Actually Europe has had way more mass killings gross and per capita than the US for years..and Europe has WAAAY stricter gun laws..at least in the US also, the good guys get to carry guns:

I just admire the US and its laws, wish I could concealed carry here. Problem is getting a visa to work in the US is a lot harder than it is for foreigners wanting to work here (we take anyone).

At first i thought the constant terror attacks were designed to rile up anger and create a backlash - now i realise its the complete opposite, they're trying to make this the new normal and pussify the apathetic population.

Quite an interesting graph. My intepretation of it is that we are entering a new era of terrorism at the hands of radicalised muslims yet still not quite as bad as it has been in the past. 21st century media and an overwhelming amount of news stations can make it seem like we are on the brink of WW3 although far from it. With an ever increasing population in Western Europe, the chances of us being a victim to terrorism is even lower than that it was during the IRA days. However what is quite worrying is that there are 5 months still to go in 2016 and the end of the graph hasnt found its peak.

'All other' don't hang about to die for their cause. Lockerbie bomber, ETA, Breivik, IRA attacks etc. The graph does a good job differentiating the new wave of terror we are facing this side of the century.

But you are right, terrorism is terrorism.
