The director of the Efron film apparently wasn't happy with the way the trailer was cut. He also did the bundy tapes doc on Netflix so he knows the subject.
Previously he did the paradise lost trilogy so I'm gonna give him the benefit of the doubt tone wise cos it does look a total misstep.

Some really good archive footage.

The Stroyville about the departure from Vietnam is also amazing

(copied from youtube comments)—– This movie is through his girlfriends eyes. Everyone loved him. The world had such a hard time seeing this man the way he truly was. He tricked everyone with his charm, humor, and good looks. He is the ultimate wolf in sheeps clothing.

On the subject of Vietnam this one's deep but a good watch. Vets living out in the American wilderness completely fucked up from their war experiences.

That rock face in Free Solo was mind blowing. He’s fearless and his girlfriend’s surname is McCandless which made me think she was related to the into the wild guy… I googled and she’s not.

Just had a quick search but I can't find it online anywhere. I watched it on BT Sport (they've been showing them the last three days)

That dad trembling when recalling the hand job was the best TV this year. Even better than Matt Goss mumbling about Rome and Darts. Laughing out loud
