The Rescue was excellent.

Chronicles the 2018 rescue of 12 Thai boys and their soccer coach, trapped deep inside a flooded cave.

Playing football in subterranean caves is always gonna be a dangerous endeavour. Hope theyve learned their lesson

Really enjoyed this. Followed the story quite closely when it took place back in 2018. Have been caving and diving, but the idea of cave diving scares the fuck out of me. If it wasn’t for the experts who flew in to help, the Thai’s would have never got them out.
Back in the 90’s when I was a Scout, ended up on an orienteering team with one of the experts John Volanthem on the Brecon Beacons. While we were out on the hills he took us in a couple of caves he knew of with just a small mag lite. Highly unsafe but remember thinking it was pretty cool as a 13 year old. CSB

sounds like a good watch, where is it on?

nankid perhaps, but caving, spelunking, squeezing through tight caves scares the shit out of me.

I think Disney +. I think it's a NatGeo doc.

It’s a Discovery Channel production so is on Disney+. Not sure if you can watch it elsewhere though.

Sorry, What Hantz said. Nat Geo, not Discovery.

So true. They didn't have a clue. Those experts were incredible though. The whole thing looked massively anxiety-inducing. The fact that they're ex-nerds made it all the more satisfying imo.

It's on Disney and all good snide streaming sites.

Mental to think that the British government had an extraction plan to get the divers out of the country if their plan went wrong. They would have faced Thai charges should any of the boys had died during the rescue

The scam is perfect. He didn’t even get charged with the scam, it was the false passport which got him nicked.

^How do you declare bankruptcy on a personal loan? You'd have to give up all personal assets?

On a side note, Peter the bodyguard needs his own Netflix docu

Life Of Crime 1984-2020, HBO doc following three addicts in New Jersey over decades

Unrelentingly grim and there are no happy endings but really watchable

First part of the Kanye Doc on Netflix. Never been into his music so had no idea how he became famous or that he needed braces. Late 90s NYC and CRT TVs made me think of milspex.
