I'm not so sure about doing something with someone at work though, depends if it turns into a relationship?!

edit: Oh you've not even told her yet, just tell her straight man, harsh on her tbf…

Cant give any personal advice as I've been with my other half for 10 years. However, I agree with the office thing. I've been in an office with an affair going and it gets very awkward. One guy I work with said never have an affair with someone who has less to lose than you.

May not apply if you are not sure you want to be with her but my colleague had just bought a house with his girlfriend and he was still doing it. Plus the girl he was having it off with seemed to be making it the worst kept secret and everyone knew but wouldn't say anything.

Someone had left in their team because she didn't get on with the new girl and he was her line manager, which makes it really awkward if he stuck up for her. He'd done it before and it was the last thing before that person left the company.

We also had another affair with someone and her married line manager; both subsequently started underperforming from the strain and both left too.

May not help but worth bearing in mind.

I've done the best thing but, fuck me, the girl from work admitted last night she was a master manipulator, and has gone back to her ex.

The whole situation is fucked. I've got a viewing tomorrow in my ex's old apartment building (roles reversed), she's gone back to her parents whilst I move everything out in a week….

Can't quite fathom though why she'd go to the effort of breaking up with her chap for two months though, move out, all for a bit of fun with a colleague. Head case.

I'm an idiot.
