Philly hand style is always crazy.

The Get Down awas corny as hell. They got so much stuff wrong. Breaking and Rapping and DJ styles from the 80s and its meant to be 77.

Felt like a big puma ad.

Waiting for a real life gritty hbo treatment ala The Wire to come out and do the Bronx 77 justice.

Anyone have any experience with Vetra work jackets in hydrone blue? Colour is a bit too much for me as is but hoping that it would fade to a more subdued shade after a few washes…

Looking for something like Nigel Cabourn collector and good egg Ben Fogle's here:

Not got a vetra but heard good things. I've got a Uni Works jacket in a similar colour/fabric that has faded over time. Most vintage shops have similar style jackets if you want an instant worn look. Think there know as French workers jackets. Hawksmill Denim Co have a USN jacket in indigo that looks really nice. There's also another small English company that produces a similar style jacket but can't remember the name (not helpful I know).

Old Town ^

As mentioned there are loads on ebay/etsy from £30-120, you can fade a vetra but will take a while especially during a British summer!

Old town are good yeah. Had a trawl through my insta Le Laboureur was what I was thinking. They vary their fabrics though.

Obviously French rather than English too Smiling
