But the parcel will be on the van still surely?

So fucked off with couriers at the moment.

DHL - had to go and pick up a parcel myself after they held onto it for almost 2 weeks "due to the weather".

DHL 2 - driver said he'd leave the parcel at the depot for me to collect, and scanned it to log that, then someone else sent it back to the shop the next day.

Fedex - pretended to try and deliver a parcel twice ("Local delivery restriction, delivery not attempted") over the course of a week, no card left etc, then called me yesterday saying they were going to send it back (to Denmark) today unless I could receive it.

Royal Mail - pretended to deliver a parcel and said they left a card when they didn't, no knock on the door, etc.

DPD - left a card in the security door without even ringing the buzzer.

Evil

Going away tomorrow so can't rearrange deliveries and none of them will hold the parcels long enough for me to collect when I'm back.

i had a package through today thats part of an ebay dispute, the mail geezer said 'dont worry, ive signed for it for you' Im thinking can they do this ? the barcode tracking sticky thing is totally in tact. Is he just being lazy cause its NYE and he wants to get round the houses as fast as possible ? or has he secretly signed it off ?

I just had someone from old st post office ring me up about my walk about parcels after a second day of them not being at the post office where they were requested to be deliveded to for collection on thursday by parcelforce, no apology the only answer being that i have no right to question the post office service as parcelforce is not the same company, and he said he was doing a favour by calling me,when i said he wasnt he hung up,I just dont understand why offer a service if between the parties they cant fulfill it,its fucking stupid,I just been on the site and re directed them back to my office for tuesday so Im sure thats just going to be the begining of a further ongoing saga for me.

Secretly? He's signed for it, like he said, to get his round done quicker, as you thought. Not meant to do that, but you got the parcel so what's the issue?

my posties are all lazt cunts, they change every week, parcels go missing, they often leave them on my doorstep (even the signed for's) just cause they can't be arsed to fill in a form and take them back to the depot.

I've had stuff stolen, reported it , been told it is lost not stolen then turn up on my doorstep with a letter saying they'd found it as part of an investigation- no apology. I've had 'your parcel is at the sorting office' notes because its quicker to throw them though the door than ring the bell and wait for an answer (usually a Saturday morning trick) , I get peoples mail for addresses that look similar to mine on a weekly basis and the 'signed for' option means fuck all usually - week before last they left a pair of new redwing boots on my doorstep in clear view of the street despite being special delivery signed for. Then they have the audacity to play fuck when theres talk of modernisation and changes to working practices. Fucking priceless.

I know but the sender was unkeen. If it was a set of ping golf clubs I would have pushed it , but for a pair of boots I couldn't be arsed.

I'm still waiting on two pairs of trainers I ordered last week.

Hopefully they come by the beginning of next week.
