No, that video is hilarious!
its 'trying it on' thats why hes confused.
the term is 'having it off' when you are doing well.
there is no such phrase as 'having it on'. Eye-wink

"Having you on", "having me on", not "having it on".

Maybe wrong thread but ive been waiting on an item from US ebay for a few weeks managed to chase it up after no sign of a drop card or attempted delivery, its being held at a parcelforce depot with £83 customs charge Jawdropping! , is there anyway at all round this? If not can i claim back through ebay seeing as i paid $30 delivery in the first place.

Anything you buy outside the EU is subject to VAT at 20% plus import duty plus parcelforce "admin" charge. Doesn't matter if you buy if off ebay and it's got nothing to do with how much postage you paid…actually it does, as the price of postage is included in the value of the item!

Its pretty obvious the problem isn't the $30 delivery charge at all its the £83 customs charge on a £180 jacket, cheers robii seller must've marked up the value of it when sent then, looks like it will just have to be paid.

Nah, I was laughing at your naivety in thinking that eBay will somehow reimburse the customs fees Eye-wink

eBay today sent me a pdf with a packing slip for a parcelforce 48 service to return an item to a seller, free, gratis, claimed through the resolution centre

Whatever you were posting probably wouldn't have been picked up by the postman til Tuesday anyway. Mine is open til one on Saturdays but the last pick up is usually 10.30-11am

Put a card through the door even though the whole family were up. Then close before the post's back. I'm back off to uni on Monday so will have to have my package forwarded to me.

£11.48 to send back a shirt signed for to Sweden. Having a laugh. I only paid £7 delivery for 2 shirts (which weighed more) and that was sent by Fedex.

Such a rip for a rubbish service.
