Hmmm, no haven't checked, thing is my local one shut up shop recently and only just started doing Hermes pick ups again the other day, this one i sent it to is a bit further away but has stayed open doing Hermes stuff, wouldn't it be typical if that one has now closed when my local just started again, ffs

Ordered from shop in Bristol and from eBay japan last friday - both delivered today. Bristol order was recorded and recommended by RM as best for next day as going thru quicker?!?! Puzzled

Apparently special delivery is the only service running as normal… cost me £7 to send a fucking letter the other day. Im talking about 3 pages of A4 folded in a normal envelope… £7!

Contacted Arket directly they say its going back and forth because there hasn't been a courier available to deliver it as there have been lots of them furloughed

How come i've been getting my regular deliveries still (up until last week anyway)

Hermes customer support is non-existent, found the number on their website but number goes dead, online chat is just a bot and can't get through to an actual human

Anyway Arket have escalated it with Hermes but not holding out much hope

The parcel shop is open btw…

post office whenever I go post something 1st class special tell me it’ll take 3 weeks but usually only takes 5 days. Special delivery they say is only service to guarantee next day but twice in the last month it’s taken 2 days.

If it's taken two days and there are no current exceptions to the guarantee due to Covid-19 you can claim back the cost of postage.

I had a parcel posted on 19th June from China which turned up today. I have a parcel posted second class tracked with Royal Mail from UK postcode on 22nd of June. It still hasn't shown up.

It's a complete lottery right now.

If you get an item sent to you and you pay customs but it’s faulty and need to return it can you claim back the customs you paid? Got something sent UPS and need to return it cause it’s faulty and the seller says I can claim it back when I asked him to pay it.

If its been sent there isn't much you can do, unless you ask them to mark it down before shipping.

I am trying a site called shipito for a Moda Operandi order. It gets sent to a CA address and then I can get it forwarded on. The shipping was £12 with £16 state sales tax. US to UK alone is £52 shipping and was putting the order combined at at least £100 for shipping and fees. Will report back how it goes.
