I think the max value a gift can be without incurring fees is around £39.

Goods is around £15

Sent something 2nd class recorded on Monday - still not been delivered - anyone experienced delays

They’ve said second class could be new year now. Best sending special and claiming money back after it goes over a day. Our post has been sound. Maybe a day or 2 late but mostly spot on.

Posted a few bits Tuesday last week 1st class signed for and not delivered yet. Something I sent a few days later delivered already so hit or miss.

Posted some items 2nd recorded in first week of December and some yet to arrive.

Just hoping buyers don’t open EBay non receipt cases. Tracking is not giving much info at present.

I sent 4 items by Hermes on Friday. Never thought I would see the day where I would pick Hermes over RM Laughing out loud

Ordered something Special Delivery on Friday for Sat delivery and it’s still at Gatwick. Can’t rely on Special delivery at the moment

Person I delivered an item to - used a collection point as their address. the collection point has refused the item and now says return to sender - I don’t put my details on the package. Surely I’ve upheld my end of the sale and it’s now down to the buyer?

does sound like you’re in the right here tbf. You delivered on your end of the deal

amateur hour not putting return/sent from address on the parcel though… I’ve got a sheet of stickers with my address on for this purpose Roll Eyes

Assuming you sent it with royal mail. Call customer services and speak to an advisor. They will ask for your tracking number, the full address on the parcel and a brief description of its contents. It will get returned to the national depot and they will forward it back to you. Had this happen to me. Purchased something and didn’t collect it from the depot in time and the seller put no return address on it. Got it back about 10 days after the phonecall.

Anyone ever had a parcel delayed because there were 'too many' at a depot? I'm trying to ship something to ismvil and UPS are saying it was delayed because there were too many in the depot!? Laughing out loud

I would have UPS would have been better than Royal Mail special, hence bloody picking it in the first place.

UPS are fucking clowns. Dread it when they are delivering my stuff. Just got a claim in actually, €155 lost parcel. Dick heads

Generally they are fine for me, and have been in the past. FedEx all the way now IMO.
