My latest injury sounds similar and couldn't put my whole weight on the foot. Rest and when you can withstand more pressure get a spikey massage ball and roll it under your foot. Been doing that and it's helped. Heard a golf ball is good too.Cheers, will give that a go.

Thanks, any issues with them at all? looking to get some shorts but they have so many varieties and many seem very short which is not something I've tried before. Hoping that if I spend this sort of cash, they'll be "perfect" in a way - I usually find small things which annoy me with my cheaper running stuff.
Any other recs for similar brands?

Well done!
I only put on weight by running as eat like a horse after and think I'm entitled to more cheat meals.
Watched this last night. Probably recommended before but worth posting again as it's truly awesome.

Thanks mate, so glad to have lost it! I was quite lean, around 12-14% BF and I was around 77kg @ 6ft 2. Training MMA/weights 5+ times a week.
Then I got married and the frequency of training massively reduced and then in December 2019 I broke my collarbone, training stopped totally, depression and boredom eating(stuck at home in a sling and whacked out on pain killers), when my shoulder finally recovered enough to be able to do anything lockdown started in march 2020! Towards the end of the year I was up to around 93kg, the heaviest I have ever been! I wasn't like obese, but I'm an endo/meso mix, basically just hold fat around my waist and find it hard to shift, relatively slow metabolism etc.
So I got a treadmill end of November 2020 and have been consistently running 4 to 5 times a week, I weighed 79.8kg this morning! So happy to have got under 80kg again! Thanks in part to all those that dm'd me road to 5k plans and videos to watch at the beginning plus all thos posting incredible times, keeping us all motivated!
Will watch this later tonight, I wish I had a metabolism like yours

Gone from doing nothing after a calf injury, to do 4/5 5k’s in 2 week and started getting a shooting pain when putting pressure on the bottom of outside of foot, in the area where your ankle support would typically finish. Anyone experienced similar before?

Still a decent number kadafi. I used to think running as fast as I can everytime I went out and chasing my PB was all it was about. Could get to 60km made up of 5Ks only in a month and feel absolutely shattered (as well as injured) by the end of it.
Fuk has taught me to do slower paced and longer runs. Enjoy running a hell of a lot more now, get injured a lot less and my 5km time is a lot more consistent as well as staying close to my PB.

Thanks Smith, yeah it's decent for me, the most distance I've ever ran in a month!
I don't chase speed much either as you say it only leads to injury and tiring yourself out.
I've been jogging around 6 to 10km per run, at 8 to 10kmph all month, not fast or long runs compared to most on here but the weight has been falling off! Im down about 12kg since beginning of December.

Looking for similar brands as well.
Shorts are perfect to be fair. Not least as there is a pocket in the lining that houses a phone for music. The best part is the fabric between the legs is stitched in a way so that it doesn't rub/catch when moving.
There are salwa if you are lucky. Haven't got any of their super short pairs as just got what was on sale but turned out to be the perfect pair.

Not tried satisfy so can’t compare but have been using these for the past month or so - best I’ve tried.

About 90% of my running gear is from the Nike outlet near where I used to work though.

Back injury at the moment so I am walking long distances (half marathons) on the road, feet are getting destroyed, trying to do a minimum of 30 miles per week.
Wearing running socks plus another mohair pair for absorption and tight fit, in Nike frees but blisters everywhere, heel, toe ends, sides of big toes etc.
Do I just need to go through a hardening phase or better sock / shoe combo?
Ran loads in my 20s but never remember it being this bad.
