Damn. You make my climb to 40km a week look like a walk in the park Laughing out loud
I struggle with time and energy for just that.

70km+ is next level.

Love hearing about it as it helps motivate me. Ubercool

SNS have reduced alphaflys again, also good price on the tempo next%.

If anyone wants the alphas in a 9.5UK let me know as I’ve got them and will be returning.

Any interest in a brand new pair of Stone Island New Balance RC Elite's in a UK12.5 at retail?

I've also still got these sitting about…

Robadob wrote: Any interest in a pair of Vaporfly Next% 2.0 in UK13 for £100? According to Strava they've done 39km. They're just a bit too big for me.

Having watched a YouTube video about what it is, I wish you a speedy recovery and hope it doesn't require surgery!

Nice one Hanto. Love night runs in the winter.

I got a 20km in this morning. I honestly couldn't do the extra 1.1km to make it a half. My longest effort in a while.

I'm now tempted to have 3 days off and do 20k on Sunday to meet my weekly target of 40k. The idea of 5 rest days a week instead of 3 is very appealing although the actual runs might kill me Laughing out loud

4x 10k been my go to but fancied something a bit ddifferent

I think 5k recovery and do the rest Sunday is the more sensible option.

Volunteering at park run this weekend to mix it up. I was getting a reputation for being one of those that always turns up to run and never help out. For a running event that is meant to be all inclusive and a bit of fun there's still very much an air of us V them when they don't have enough volunteers. Sticking out tongue

It really depends on the seriousness of the injury which are graded 1-4. Ensure you rest , ice , compress & elevate (google RICE) & see a sports physio if not recovered in 6 weeks.

I damaged my ligaments almost exactly 12 months to the day & still not fully recovered. I’m having to manage my mileage for the time being with longer rest periods after longer runs & dialling down the pace for recovery/easy runs (the joys of being an old bastard )

Hope yours isn’t as serious but definitely rest up for the time being.

moving into a new house this week and the mrs wants a new running machine

Should I get a Peloton, or something else?

I run outside on the trails so will use it, but not as much as the mrs. She does struggle with motivation so I am wondering if it will keep her focused, with the leaders board etc

Love some treadmill tips too if anyone has one and can recommend. Looked how much the ones in most gyms are and they were disgracefully expensive.

Took my vaccine riddled self for my first long run of the month. It was bloody freezing out there.
