Anyone doing Marcothon? So far finding it decent, although reckon finding the time towards the end of the month will be the challenge.

10k a day is good going. The one I'm doing is only 5k per day.
Really enjoy getting a quick run in on xmas day. Usually the only time for a bit of peace and tranquility.

I ran a half marathon last Xmas Day as we couldn't go anywhere with the Rona. Loved it. Enjoy winter running more than summer as less people about on the trails near me and can get lost in a podcast. Snow runs are the best so hoping for some snow as not had any yet.
NEver heard of Marcothon before. Sounds good that. Good luck with it.
Have heard of The Goggins 4x4x48 challenge though. Anyone done that?

I've heard of that, looks an absolute ballache to get it done. Good going if you can do that.

Any recs for some running gloves? Looking for lightweight and warm but not going to make me sweat 5 minutes in to a run. Waterproof would be a bonus but not critical. Like the Tracksmith Inverno’s but a bit more than I want to pay plus have to ship from US.

Lovely out there today. No gloves needed as pretty mild. Got a 10k in and felt great.

Nike Tempo Next% are brilliant for 5K’s but you’re looking at about £130, loads of places have them reduced (from £169 RRP) There’s usually a few bargains on Depop, if you can find your size.

If you can get them in budget (most likely previous releases) and your feet pronate, Gel Kayano's are brilliant.
