Thanks all. Yeah got an office job so sit far too much. And I was starting to push myself on speed (I was aiming to get a sub 20 minute 5k). It doesn’t help all my fitness is from cycling too so fitness wise I think I can go further than I can. I guess I just didn’t like the pushy attitude of the Physio I went to. I might try out a running specialist Physio

All things the physio can and should be able to help you with, great starter for a decent aerobic base is cycling also beneficial cross training, which I’m guilty myself of not doing enough of.
If your pushing the speed in session good full of thumb is to have 2-3 days between faster paced sessions, just to allow the recovery to take place and start off slowly with them don’t be firing in 3 sessions a week that’s something to work up to.

ON make some great clothing but their shoes need work. They need some fresh minds in their r&d/design teams.

I think the monster looks interesting and also the vista. Not really a fan of the look of the cloud sole but think it works on the monster. Haven’t been that impressed with the On styles I have had for running so far

Always have avoided them seem gimmicky and they have definitely pigeon holed themselves with there unique set up, thompson not using his sponsored shoe to go in blackout vapors for the Olympic trials a few years ago tell you all, saying that there xc spikes and track spikes got a bit of attention there some decent result from there athletes wearing them, the new one is the 1st I’d say I’ve been interested by but don’t know where it fits into a rotation.

Has anyone had the Saucony Endorphin Speed 2s and recommend for daily running on tarmac?

Anyone interested in a pair of Hokka Clifton 7 size 8.5 wide? Bought these just as a fucked my calves up, so only worn them a couple of times to try to run in.
Sorry to spam in here but thought it the best to ask before I stick them in the classifieds.

Can anyone recommend an entry level watch that I can listen to music on whilst running, that’s all I really want to use it for, and maybe telling the time!?

Taking your phone in an arm band or whatever is 100% a headache.

Are you being sarcastic? I can't tell. Puzzled

Always take my phone in an armband. Dont even notice it's there. But then again I have a normal size smartphone and not one the size of a small tablet like most people seem to have these days.

Couldn't imagine running without a phone. Have needed it on the odd occasion to get me out of trouble.

edit, yeah smith I have a karrimore band I've used for years, and a massive phone which I also need to use for work, and just thought a watch would do the trick

Armbands for your phone are proper shit, shorts with a phone pocket in the liner are the way forward.

Never take my phone on a run (unless it's gonna be a proper day/rural one!).

I use a Fenix 6 but that ain't a cheap option. Forerunner's are decent pieces of kit and you can pick them up cheap, second hand on the Bay.
