Do like the idea of the freedom of a run with just a watch on the wrist that can Bluetooth music to wireless headphones.

I get why they are popular but my phone and armband are no issue really.

Using a Flipbelt is a really good way to carry phone, keys etc on a run with zero hassle.

Fenix 6 has Spotify built in so it just hooks up to headphones via Bluetooth.

What do you guys use to listen to music?

Garmin Venu with in-built storage / bluetooth headphones.

Have never run with my phone, just looks odd when I see it.

I did this for awhile but got one of these and have used one ever since. Think I am on my third in 2years though so they do fall apart. Doesn’t feel like your wearing anything extra though which is great.

I also bought the Forerunner 645 for the same reasons as you. But I’ve stopped uploading music too it now and just carried on using my phone. It’s abit of a task to keep putting new music on it from Spotify. Depends on if you constantly want to change your playlists which I usually do.

Always take my phone in an armband. Dont even notice it's there. But then again I have a normal size smartphone and not one the size of a small tablet like most people seem to have these days.

Couldn't imagine running without a phone. Have needed it on the odd occasion to get me out of trouble.

No mate, I find it very annoying, put the phone in unlocked and it launches a random app, have to put it in unlocked as the fingerprint sensor dont work behind the plastic of the armband.
Then it takes a minute to get off the app and launch spotify and get a playlist on, then you somehow have to struggle with the touch screen that dont work through the armband plastic to launch your running app, then you put it on your arm and the phone has locked it self, and you hav to go through trying to launch and start your running app again.

I had 40 mins to run before work and have wasted 5+ mins off it fucking around with my armband.

Sorry to spam in here but thought it the best to ask before I stick them in the classifieds.

These were too wide for my feet, worn once by me for a run if anyone wants them for what I paid message me.

That sounds like more of a problem with the armband and the phone not being set up for ease of use. Mine is just a holder so I can slide my phone in and out while running fairly easily. Fingerprint reader to unlock my phone while running and have a button on the side that opens the music app directly for changing playlist if I want to. The app itself has voice commands for skip, fast forward, play etc for when it is in my armband.

I'll put myself in the nan kid thread to save someone else doing it. Sticking out tongue

Managed 5k yesterday. Fastest time I've done. Celebrated by cooling off in the sea straight after. Cool
