i just gradually built up the distances, eat the right stuff before i run and make sure i have plenty of drink with me. my legs get pretty fucked by the end, boredom is one of the main problems, its a fair chunk of time, i have an ipod, but try to switch off my mind when im going.

asics 2120 are a decent shoes if you have normal feet.

i'm on my 4th pair.

they are about £70 in shops but can sometimes get them much cheaper (like £35).
