toocan - I'd go with the Nike tights & shorts and the Adi vest. Personally don't like compression socks (Be a pain to wear alongside tights also) and go for ankle running ones instead. Nike ones are decent, as are the 1000mile ones.

Got the new nike Pegasus 32 today after doing 500miles on the Pegasus 31, can't recommend them enough should anyone be in the market for a pair of cushioned runners, no pains or strains out of the ordinary for doing 30+miles a week with them.

I did the same switch after racking up 600+ in my 31's. Have been flying in them since. Think they're fav from peg 29-32 ranges.

Can anyone recommend some (short) socks for cold weather running?
I always seem to get chilblains (yes old man) when running in autumn and winter.

I just bought everything (except shoes which are asics) from Nike outlet store, everything seems to work ok and is warm/cool and comfortable, I don't think there is much point agonizing over what brand you buy, $100 shorts don't make you a better runner than $30 ones.

Ive started running for distance now as opposed to sprinting, which is what I usually do.
Im getting pain at the front of my shins, any ideas why?

New Gwakusou up on End. Really like that Shield jacket but can't spend that kind of money on a running jacket.

Anyone own one of the standard shield jackets - recommend or not?
