Any interest in these in a 45? Prefer my five fingers. They're probably good if you haven't spent several years conditioning yourself to running barefoot

I tried them on and they are without a doubt the most comfortable pair of running trainers I've ever worn.
I went with the Peg Turbo 2 instead though as I had a discount code for them and the Vaporfly just weren't worth the extra £100+. The Turbo 2 are so comfy too.

Currently running in the Pegasus 36 Trail and the Epic React 2 depending on weather. Epic React 2 gotta be the best Summer sneak I've had but the Trail is far more comfortae for long miles.

Couldn't get on with the Turbo 2's at all nor the new 'normal' Pegasus.

2:50kms for 42km is absolutely mind boggling. I'd be blowing out my arse after 2km at that pace.

This.

Would think most people would struggle to run at that pace at all, let alone for 26 miles. It's 17 secs per 100m for 2hrs.

Another stat I saw was of the 51m+ park runs recorded, only 5 have been run at a faster pace. Kipchoge ran nearly 9 times a park run distance at that speed Jawdropping!

Breaking 2 is a great watch. Really makes you appreciate how super human these athletes are.

Film it with a go pro and post it here. Use a running app to buzz when you hit the 2km mark and show your watch time at the end clocking sub 5 minute 40 seconds. Would love to see it. Cool

Béni soit Kipchoge
"Berlin is running and breaking a world record," said Kipchoge. "Vienna is running and making history – like the first man to go to the moon."

I enjoyed this one. He's as humble as ever Cool

On a different note, this is unsettling - https://www.lemonde.fr/sport/article/2019/10/11/athletisme-nike-arrete-l-oregon-project-apres-la-suspension-pour-dopage-de-salazar_6015086_3242.html

Sorry lads, no GoPro. fair call out though, tried it and physically couldn't keep up after about 1400m. just shows what goes in to take even 10 seconds per km off. absolutely mad to do that for 42km. hats off to Kipchoge.
