Better effort than the guy in the video! Well the one not making the pace anyway Smiling

Might try this challenge but start at 100m and try to get to 800m.

Kipchoge pace is frightening.

I met a dude at a wedding recently that ran Dublin in sub 2.30 and he is convinced kipxhorge didn’t do sub 2 legit and mentioned something about there being undeniable evidence he’s on EOP or something ? ( yes talking by the bar after all the wine, champers etc)

EPO- I think it’s quite common in pretty much every endurance sport at the elite level

Laughing out loud

Parents haven't got a smudge of 'em on the mantelpiece and they've rented a bedsit in Hackney for the last 15 years.

As someone who fucking hated running all his life I’m now getting really into it Shocked .

I’ve told a work colleague (who also runs) that I will run a sub 20 min 5k before I’m 30 (April) and I’m chipping away at the time. First 5k effort, about 4 months ago, was 25 mins (and I nearly had an aneurysm Laughing out loud ).

21.37 today and, although hard, I had a little left in the tank. I’ve been doing a bit of training with another runner at work and that’s been helping loads.

Anyone else found a passion for running lately?

That's some going, mark Cool

Best of luck achieving the sub 20mins 5k. That's 6m40s per mile, right?

Thats some effort mate. It does take double the effort to lose just 10 or 20 seconds off the pace the faster you go. I've ran sub 20 before and it took me about 12 weeks of consistent running. I also had just lost about 30 pounds too so that probably helped.

Trying to get my 5k back to under 20mins again, ran 20:20 near the start of summer but that was coming off the back of marathon training. Back up to 21:30ish now, need to get my weight back down and be more consistent. Hopefully should hit sub 20 earlyish next year.
