I've already been today. Lots of couples and dog walkers on what is usually my empty off track route. Going to have to think of an even quieter place to run now but will be almost impossible with everyone at home with cabin fever and wanting to escape for a bit (me included).

Ffs. This thing is really bringing out the thick in people…

Victoria Park now closed until further notice
In order to ensure community safety, following the failure of some visitors to follow social distancing guidance, the council and local police have taken the joint decision to close Victoria Park until further notice.

I'm not surprised tbh. If the sun is out this wknd, lockdown will be non-existant

You're not wrong. Never thought a nanny state would be so necessary.

You can easily get in though right ? The bin near peoples park tavern was always pretty good to hop in / out if it closed at night

Anyone know how the Hoka Speedgoats fit?

Tried a pair of the Mafate Speed on before, half a size up and were still too small, wondering wether to order a full size up in speedgoats

Im after some running sneaks, not sure what to get, obviously cant go out and get measured so just after some nikes or something generic and cheap at the moment. I haven't ran for a few years now, never really did anything other than 5k's. Have quite flat feet and my inner arch usually gets rubbed to death. Any recommendations?

Arahi's I've sized up half but gone for wide fit, makes a noticeable difference.

Not sure if it applies to other models, but there's quite a bit of difference in different versions of the same model, Arahi 3s in wide fit feel virtually the same as Arahi 2s in normal normal fit.

Genuinely thought they were an April Fools joke. Guess it makes sense for downhill.
