I had a wander round the Burberry sale at lunchtime;
A decent quantity of trenchcoats at £150 to £175 (the odd one at £100). I got a classic midnight blue model with the button-in wool lining for £175 from £995. A fair number of overcoats too, but mostly starting at £200 so not cracking value. All the leather jackets had gone by the time I got there, though they might get more tomorrow.
A small selection of suits for £100 and odd jackets for £75, but nothing great
Plenty of jumpers - all the cashmere and fancy models at £50 and the wool / lower-end ones at £20-30. I got an Italian-made cotton pullover for £20 (from £140) and a merino polo shirt for £15 (from £125)
Some shirts, odd trousers, and a handful of blouson jackets and the like. No mens luggage, accessories or shoes.
There's a lot more womenswear, and again at great prices, 60-90% off original price.
They're very hot on the invites - if you don't have one, you're not coming in. Be prepared to queue to get in, to leave your coat and bag at the checkin, and again to pay. The staff confirmed they were getting new deliveries daily.
