6/7/8 August- Kilgour at The Music Room- they're promising 'very special prices'

Yesterday afternon, they started dropping prices on many ranges. I think dinner suits were down to £250, and possibly leather jackets too. Ties were down to £10 and so were the assorted trousers. I picked up a stunning wool/angora/cashmere overcoat sample for £200 - the sample tag on it was £1200. There were some lovely suits too. Thanks for the heads up, sixpence.

The Secret Sample Sale and London Accessory Sale teams are preparing to return to the Truman Brewery in September for another spectacular event.

Their members pre-sale day is Thursday 3rd of September from 2pm to 9pm (see samplesal.es for details and sign up to the Secret Sample Sale / London Accessory Sale mailing lists for an invite)

I'm not sure. The last one I went to (6 or 9 months ago) was good for Paul and Joe, but I can't remember how much of other labels there was at the time. The mens section was quite small when compared to the womens… but I'm not sure what to expect this time.

It was still worth popping along for the savings though - I picked up a couple of really great P&J shirts for about 20 quid each…

Alas I will be steering clear as I have no money left, however, I went to one last year and their were some seriously nice bargains amongst the inevitable piles of shite. If you get their early go straight to the shoe boxes as last year they had Tricker's Collab boots (punched brogues) for silly money - i think about £70 or £80, and like a daft C**t I didn't buy a pair. Knits were quite good at £10 a pop.
