^^^yep.

Get over the bridge on a bicycle too. Great views of the bay and City from the other side.

Would still recommend Tommy's Joynt from the last page - proper throwback place, good for lunch.

Late lunch in Napa Valley after a wine tasting session, get the ferry back, keep going with cocktails at Top of the Mark.

Alcatraz and bikes all booked up, not got time to do Napa. Weve done wine tasting in Oz and SA so sacrificed Napa for Tahoe, which was amazing.

On way back from a business trip…few recommendations:

Mollusk surf shop in Ocean Beach - great little shop, fantastic area with decent eats, beach and surfing nearby. Although, on way back from a surf today I passed two tweakers off their tits aggressively rubbing sand in into their, uh, chicken tenders, getting over excited and then tearing into each other Eek

The Chapel in Mission for live music. Saw Ariel Pink last night there. Beehive opposite sound for drinks.

Dispensaries are ace, recommend Green Door; decent selection, good budtenders.

City is heaving hipster coffee and toast joints but Pentacle, Sextant and Saint Frank all good. Pentacle by far best coffee I've had anywhere.

Wesburger (MIssion) and Saratoga (Tenderloin) are great for burgers/comfort eats, also went Petit Marlowe good for French. Lers Rose Thai (Tendserloin) is great - unassuming family style Thai place been there for years but serves Bourdain-friendly offal, frogs, snails and generally adventurous protein you rarely see in UK Thai joints.

Was shocked when i was there by how it is, worse than LA for fucked up people wandering around.

Loved it though Cool

Same; I love that there is faces chart! Wouldn't surprise me though. Definitely preferred it to LA, but was equally nice to get out the city.

Going over next year to get married at City Hall. Any recommendations for drinks and a meal after? Probably ten of us in total.
