Is it rule of thumb to size down in all brands for boots?
Any thoughts on these DMs: http://thestyleraconteur.com/tag/8-eye-boots/

They are a bit banterlish, can assure you tho no trousers would get tucked inside any pair of boots I wear Sticking out tongue . just had my eye on them from time ago and carl remided me of them cus he is trying to shift a blue pair of DMs so kinda fancy them now they are reduced.

thanks for this

yellowpages wrote: The same thing happened with my RW Chukkas after only a few weeks, a bit of a joke really. Coming away a little at the instep on the left boot now too, considering getting a Vibram Morflex put on at the beginning of next autumn. Bruk, stick some pics up if you get a resoling job done (regardless of the type of sole) as I'd like to see how they look.

mine are about 2.5 years old, have worn really well to be honest, will post up some pics as and when

interested to see some pics!

@yellowpages and bruk is it just the end if the leather welt that isn't sitting exactly flat down on the top of the vibram sole? If so its not supposed to be glued down, it just sits on top of it and with som mink oil rubbed into it, especially if you've previously dried it out by cleaning it, you may find they are ok. Put up pics pls?

It just looks like the welt is coming away from the sole at some parts round the edges, especially both toes. Not much of a problem in terms of function but they weren't like that when I got them Puzzled

Really want to get a new pair of low ankle chealsea boots, I love the style of the Hudson grohl boots, had a couple of pairs they are just really poorly made as most Hudsons are, is there anyone that does a similar style?

They don't actually look that bad Goldie seeing as the brogueing isn't as big as on the Grensons, how much?

no carbs before marbs with a pair of reem shorts or white chinos and i reckon them gold (thought they were silver myself) would be good to go imo.
