cheers ppl. yeah, think i'm going to play it safe and size down .5 which seems to be the general consensus on alot of places anyway. now i've looked into it. and they look very narrow for boots, don't want to risk going a whole size.

^ 0,5 size bigger than tagged imo

Has anyone tried these on yet? Would hate getting a pair from haven and having to return them.

Just waterproofed my Virgil's with this stuff - tried all the fancy SAPHIR stuff which i found comparable to the stuff in supermarkets…
Excellent stuff that waterproofs and conditions the leather and is only £2.99.
well worth a punt with the weather on the turn.

I'm sure that's good, but that saphir stuff doesn't just waterproof your boots makes them look better too.

Anyone own a pair of APC rangers?

I fancy them, just wondering if they are worth the money, or fall apart in a few weeks?

I bought them last year. Didn't really get around to wearing them, but from trying them on briefly they seemed to fit similar to chukkas (more or less TTS, maybe slightly bigger but not worth going down a full size).

Gave my Red Wings a mink oil for the first time at the wknd. Had these for over 2 years and they're so comfy.

How do the RW chukkas handle snow and ice, meaning are they slippery as hell during the winter?

Sole isnt great for grip (I think they are designed for indoor work) but your feet will stay dry.

Red wings are definitely useless for winter/slippery weather.
Nevertheless been wearing my 1907 for the last 4 winters.

When you're not in trainers what you wear (don't say those dog eared vis things)?
