Don't Trickers offer a resoling service for their own shoes and boots?

Tricker's are a bit on the pricey side, yes. I can't remember to be honest but I think it was like £120 or something for a resole. Annoying to deal with in my experience too, though I respect what they do.

There's only one place I'd send my Tricker's to: Shoe Healer. Speak to Richard, he's the man and the service is first rate. Good value too and usually rapid. It's a no-brainer.

I've got a pair of Redwing Chukkas to resole. Has anyone used Timpsons or able to recommend anywhere else?

Want to darken a pair of suede shoes. Is my best bet to get a semi-decent suede protector? Or dye? I figure the former is 2 birds with 1 stone type of deal.

Maybe an alternative to Tricker's black casual shoes?

Barker Fenwick.

Look like something Mark Lawrenson would wear to a charity darts match.

I wouldn't buy them instead of Trickers; but I bet if I said they were Trickers x Kafka or something people's opinions would be different.

Change the laces to black and they'd be better.

Anyone seen any casual Penny Loafers like this in a grain upper? These are made by Rancourt & Co and cost £350ish, looking for something cheaper (as per usual…)
