Off-hand does anyone know what prices are like at Tony's heel bar (no WWE pub) for a resole?

Thinking of putting my beloved RW Postman on something new as they are a bit worn now -

Commando (I would want plain black instead of leather midsole)

Or raw cord (again, I would want plain black)

As people have said, Red Wing Postman.

I know they have a RnR / outdoors reputation but someone in WAYWT was wearing them with slim trousers / jeans and they looked OK. Same shape as docs, just a classic. Come in a matte finish on a black wedge as distinct to the above as well.

Nice but overpriced.

Spotted some interesting new black derbie shoes in Cos today, didn't have time to take pic. Nice though for £89. No laces, fastened with a couple of studs..

I'm after some suede boots around the £200-£300. Preferably in darker colours. The best pair I've owned were Dior about 6-7 years ago, I regret selling them. I like these but £500 is a bit much.

Nice one. Taupe boots are just the ticket.

Dammit, there's branding all over the back.

^ good shout, people have been saying good things about them, apparently they take a millennia to ship though

@ Mr.X, did not even see that, that is annoying, probably could be removed through roughing up the suede, but its a bit of a liberty really

SeF chelseas are more dressy with a much higher heel, around 30mm I think. Them Bottega are awesome, I would love a pair but £500… I can't justify that.

Another thing to note about SeF is the custom charge, it's around £60, so total price of the shoe will be around £220.

Those who've done it, when replacing a vibram sole do you need to go up/down a size? seeing 8,10,12 for the sole size, but trying to replace us11's.
