i'm after a pair of chelseas and these 2 are in my selection.
Normally the sl would be way out of my league (pricewise), but i learned the hard way that sometimes it's ok to stretch your budget and get what really fits u. Anyway, any thoughts on these? The heel of the sl are 30mm, pointyness is about the same.
or are there any good alternatives? CPS are a little too bulky for my taste.

Heel on the SL ones looks too high…overall a bit too feminine imo

The black suede version of those Acne's is a winner.

Cheers mate, is that the case for the boots as well? I'm guessing it'll be similar to Common Projects then?

We talking Maine Guides yeah? Full size down.

Try them on if you possibly can. They are a masterpiece of design and very comfortable but they are absolute tanks and absolutely caned my legs after a day around town. You need pins like MuayThaiPimp/ScottishMark to make them work.

Anything I can do about cracked leather on a pair of Church's? Obviously they're not going to magically reheal but they look like shit at the moment.

I had 3 pairs and sold them all. Whilst they look great in photos, they always seemed clumpy and cumbersome to wear and I found myself pick other footwear over them hence the sell off.

Agreed. They would benefit from a Morflex sole rather than the higher density Christy.

i tried both and will stick with the sl. Suprisingly i liked the 1cm bigger heel on the sl, irl not fruity at all (at least ime). cheers for the help everybody, def need some time to get used to them but i think they'll last me forever and fit great in my wardrobe.
can anyone recommend sth to make the leather sole more grippy indoors or is i just sth that will come with time?
