Cheers bought a pair of 7s last week and they fit slightly bigger than Clarks imo, far more comfy though. Tempted by the Chelsea boots now too.

I think general advice is size down one, so go with your Clarks size. Just make sure you check the width fitting, I think size down one applies for the wider fit otherwise probably more TTS

I've got a size 11 UK in Church's Dubai oxfords, 10.5 UK in cons and nikes, what size would I be in a trickers derby?

Trickers and Church's same for me although I wear 0.5 down on my Nike/Cons size in both.

Anyone get their soles replaced at the Vibram spot near old street? If so, what prices are we looking at?

Can anyone suggest the best Church's model that will bridge between weddings and could be worn with jeans.

Would like a semi-brogue like Diplomat ok or too formal for jeans etc ?

Put 2 pairs of visvim boots in last week to be resoled, due to get them back tomorrow. 50 quid each.

Will let you know the quality when I get them back if you like?

Some type of strap loafer? Bit too 'Essex' (no offence) with jeans though if you wear supper skinny ones rolled up.

No I'm not a loafer guy really. I think Diplomat is much more a semi-formal shoe i.e perfect for suits, work etc but not black tie. I don't think it would work with even slim dark jeans to answer my own question
