A bit pricey maybe but for what I can spend on trainers these would probably last longer in terms of their wear and not beiing bored with putting them on them on everyday.

Those Paul Smith boots are lovely Trystero.
The Topman Loakes look very nice too, just have a feeling they'll end up sales fodder (depending on how many they make I guess), bit smart for me too.
Margiela 22 range has some nice stuff (v pricey)

Very happy with the Moma boots I bought, some nice ones on Yoox too, ,ostly around £100

Yeah, I did consider that.

Loake boots normally retail for around £115-£140 though, so £119 isn't too bad a price to pay for these even if they are discounted at a later date.

They might make the sales in some sizes, but there weren't any 40's left in any of the other three styles when I last checked the site so I didn't want to wait and risk them selling out.

The Moma boots that you posted look like a good deal. The Margiela ones are pretty overpriced though imo. I'd imagine that you could get something much better from a proper shoemaker for that kind of money.

If I had a bigger budget, I'd probably go for something like these Aldens. Really like the shell cordovan.

Topman = bunch of fucking idiots.

I ordered two pairs of those Loake boots in the end because I was between sizes and p&p was capped at £5 no matter how big the order. Parcel arrived just now and they've sent me completely the wrong shoes. Two pairs of plastic Chelsea boots (rrp £50 each) rather than the Loake ones that they've charged me almost £240 for.

So sick of buying stuff online at the moment. This past week has just been one fuck up after another. Going to have to carry these into town now and try to get a refund from the stupid student pricks who work at the store, who'll no doubt think that I'm trying to scam them or something.
