Assuming it's the same for all models then yes.
The crepe soles started splitting on my Alden longwings and I got them resoled with a Vibram sole easily enough.

Thanks, yeah mine are splitting too, was wanting to resole with crepe though

It's dependant on the availability of a crepe sole but unless you want the leather toe-tip replicated generally an easier job than a full leather resole AFAIK. I have noticed the leather piece wears down quicker than the crepe so pretty pointless, I was thinking of getting a commando or dainite sole on mine for winter. Was quoted £140 from a specialist.

Thanks Cracka, yeah in Aus it's prolly futile even trying. Will prolly get a new pair, but this pair took me years to break in properly, now really comfy

You should be able to resole with crepe. Fairly common. Done it on a couple of pairs

yeah but there is a complication on walkers with the leather toe piece as well

i went and tried on the meermins and trickers instore on friday, and ended up with the meermins - they're a bit more formal than the trickers which is what i was after
