false economy imo - cheap shoes look and are cheap shoes. there are no shortcuts with shoes - you get what you pay for unless you can source a genuine bargain. Paul Smith are good for Chelsea boots, they often have them in the outlets - coggles has some in the sale online and ebay us often has 'em.

Just say no to inferior footwear.
I know what you're saying but I wanted a pair of cheap shoes, if I wear them out one night and they fall part i'll go buy another pair if I like them that much, i'd rather do that than wear a pair of my Dior shoes and spend the whole night in some shitty club hoping some prick in his hobnail boots doesn't tread all over them. They also don't look especially cheap IMO

So wait, you'll pay 40 quid for a pair of shoes that will probably fall apart in one night, and then fork out another 40 quid for another pair of cheap shoes…..rather than just fork out 80 or 90 for a decent pair that'll last you much longer and look decent….

Let me begin by saying your opinion means absolutely nothing to me and secondly where might I get some Dior boots for £90, the same place you got that piece of shit Number Nine shirt? It's not the money it's the fact that I am not sure if I really like wearing boots so decided to buy a cheap pair for knocking about in and then spend a couple of hundred on some trainers that I know I will wear a lot more. Happy now?

saving stuff for 'best' is bs - if you own it, wear it.

I don't see why you are pursuing this, when and where I choose to wear my clothes should be of little interest to you. I don't save stuff for best I just don't like going to a grotty house party in Dalston head to toe in Dior worrying about where i'm going to put my coat for the night

I'm after the non-collab version as I don't fancy paying the sophnet price tag Eye-wink

I happened across the Trickers shop in Bath yesterday. Leather Chukka boots are £240.

not my cup of tea but tbh, they'd probably last a lifetime and possibly better than 3 £80 pairs.

Cheers. I'm going to give the store in London a call see whether they have them in a black leather. If not Bath store it is…

HDSY, I'm going to presume they're the same, maybe slightly different in the colours of materials and stitching used but the shape/model should be the same as the Sophnet ones.
