always think about restart skating a bit seriously but the idea of getting hurt and have to live with the pain those 8+ hours at work really kills me.
It's incredible tough how you don't forget all the tricks you got. It just takes a few tries and you close them. Balance and confidence while riding instead disappear incredibly as Deuce said!
Found an old deck in my parents' garage a few weeks ago. Almost smashed my face while spinning fast but closed a kickflip quite easily
.
Btw, Shame respect for doing that!
For the sake of collecting all new skate clips into a start page, i set up an page doing just that: http://www.skatevids.me
There´s sidebar where you can display the feed you want. Some swedish channels in there, as well as some british. If you know any good accounts to display there, let me know guys!

just ordered myself a new set-up after not skating for around 9 years! was my favorite hobby back then and I dont really know why I stopped. anyone got experience with starting to skate again after a long time? I still have all the tricks in my head how they worked, so hope it wouldnt take "too long" to make some flips and slides.
tried doing that after about 5 years out. the most frustrating thing was losing your balance.
i could still land a lot of tricks, kickflips etc, but simply pushing along and having control was the hardest bit - i felt like a complete beginner again in that aspect, and i just found it really frustrating as i knew how good i was before.
gave up again after about 2 weeks later. it hurts, and it's scary now that you're older and realise breaking your wrist etc can fuck up your dayjob
