Exactly one month after delivery.

So if I order something for about £150 from Sweden to the uk, do I need to ask them to remove the VAT as I’ll have to pay it upon receipt?
+whatever they decide in customs / admin charges etc
Or am I just getting stung for double tax This is so fucking confusing
yes but retailers dont seem willing to remove vat (i assume that is because they need to register with HMRC?)… i have spoken to our legacy about it but they wont remove VAT

Are Acne not renowned for huge profit margins so they can afford this? Effectively saying Acne isn't worth what you pay sorry

£190 for the trousers I got seems fair to me considering the majority of other brands who sit in the same style and aesthetic of Acne charge more.
FedEx do like to bill after delivery, one to keep an eye on. FWIW I received something from FedEx shipped from EU back in mid January and haven't received or heard anything since delivery.

If the €160 includes VAT then just customs duty (which varies depending on what it is, usually less than 20%) and any processing fee from the courier.
If the €160 doesn't include VAT then you'd pay UK VAT (i.e. 20%) plus any customs duty (as above, it varies) and any courier processing fee.
Handy guide:

Anyone fancy lending a hand with getting something from Italy to the UK? It’s €200 and on eBay. Guy will only ship to EU countries
edit - gonna leave it cheers.
As others have mentioned in this thread; I also don’t mind helping out with UK to EU postage just drop me a PM

Ordered a pair of trousers from Acne's website yesterday morning and arrived here this morning. Customs already paid and free returns included.
