Anyone had decent experience with Etsy ? Buying something from Europe. Are all duties / taxes included in the final price ?

Tax should be sorted by Etsy but there may be duties if it's over £135 / €150.
My wife has sold sub-£135 items to the EU since Brexit and everything's been fine with that, the buyers didn't have to pay anything.

Thanks Andy. It’s above £135. Frustratingly After buying I’d noticed it was significantly cheaper on the sellers own website and wondered if that’s due to Etsy seller fees or duties are automatically added I guess we’ll see !

Does the £135 pounds include the postage costs? Just put an order in from Denmark came to £132 without postage £140 with?

It excludes any shipping and handling costs, just the value of the goods.

Are there any EU proxies people have used? Quite a few stores no longer shipping to UK.

Does anyone know if import/duties on stuff £135+ from Yoox is prepaid?
Says on item pages that all duties and tax are included, but it is Yoox so…

Yoox seem to have got it together now and all prices shown include UK duties and tax…. whereas before it was only items under £135.

the biggest frustration is the charges are all over the place. got hit for over £100 on a couple of pairs of shoes (sub £600) and less than £200 on artwork worth several k.

Orginal art used to 5% or something like that, very low rate compared to other goods.

Looks like it's the same, this was the case with imorting original art form the US or Japan pre Brexit.
Orig art is duty free with 5% VAT. There's probably some instances that require more VAT and duty (prints probably won't qualify)but it looks like the original terms apply.

Ordering some lights from Belgium, SimplyDuty states VAT payable but no import duty due to UK-EU TCA, is the latter likely to be correct?

We kindly inform you that because of Brexit your order will be subject to custom duties (around 12,5%) +VAT(20%) upon arrival.
