DIdnt go in the end it looked a bit boring but ended up at the spirit museum next door. Was really cool and went to Nosh and Chow last night in Osterman which was pretty nice. Kind of like an English townhouse actually.

Sat on the ferry to Finland now, Swedish girls are just the best ever

Didn't go in the end mate. Monarch's collapse screwed us over and inflated the return trip prices so much that I couldn't justify the cost for both of us for three nights. Gutted really but had a good time nonetheless.

Urban Deli in Södermalm for really nice locally inspired food and then Nytorget 6 across the road for drinks after is a dream combo.

Pom and Flora for breakie / brunch is insane. But get there early. Can also recommend Herman’s for lovely veg food. Both in Sodermalm. Drop Coffee is awesome too but the standard coffee is very strong !

After buying 2 coffees and a smoothie in Dubai airport it’s made me realise Sweden is actually not that expensive

Bumping this thread. Heading over on 6th feb for a long weekend. What should I be looking to do? Any good recommendations for food, booze and nights out etc? Also what's happening in terms of clothes shops? Cheers in advance.

Caliroots is worth a visit as is the Our Legacy workshop store. The latter is off the beaten track, so set some time aside. There's also an Acne outlet, but I never thought that was up to much. Have a mooch around the 2nd hand shops as well, as there's decent finds.

Eating out is pretty expensive as you'd expect https://barobao.se/#menu is good for lunch, speceriet was also pretty good. I got a set lunch there which was reasonable. I also went to an Indian in Sodermalm, can't recall the name, but was good.

My missus was pregnant, so I wasn't boozing much.

I work in Norway so I'm well prepared for how expensive Sweden will be. I've heard it's not quite the same as Norway so that's a bonus.

Anyone know of any particular good places to catch live music of a weekend and which clubs I should be looking at? I'm more a house/techno sort of person club wise so any suggestions welcome.
