Don't worry too much about the prices as the Swedish Krone is quite low at the moment. I've never been myself but people who go say to visit the Vasa ship thing. Probably very touristy but should be interesting to see.

Yeah it’s not too different from London at all. Booze is more expensive though in general
I’d recommend Sodermalm for nice bars and cafes and restaurants - around Nytorget or Mariatorget. Götgatan has some amazing Scandinavian style shops.
Also around where you are staying is nice and plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from.
I’d recommend Skansen and Fotografisk too.

Recently spent a few days in Stockholm. It’s a clean, relaxed city, and very walkable. I stayed close to the Zinkendamm ice hockey ground and felt at home. Drop coffee, nitty gritty, our legacy all close by, plus a few other boutiques so a good choice for Fukwits. Bio Rio is an old cinema in the neighbourhood with a great Japanese/Peruvian bistro and good wine options. Otherwise I went to-
Tygge & sessil- strong wine list and great service.
Savant- smaller selection but more choice btg and more relaxed, also have good coffee
Centan- small plates and a great wine list
The only other place I would have wanted to go was Babette but just didn’t have time.
There’s a state monopoly on alcohol and PK Huset is the best bet for low-intervention choices but speak to the staff as it’s quite well disguised
Only had time for one museum and picked the national museum- quite boring tbh. If there’s an equivalent to the John Soane collection I didn’t find it listed.
Swedish people have strong International School energy but everybody was super nice and accommodating. The stock camp-Scandi style is prominent here.
