youth have always been like this, anything mainstream is automatically shit, whereas when you get older you realise some good shit gets popular and some good shit doesn't. Some bad shit gets popular also and some bad shit doesn't. Good is good and bad is bad, but you don't realise this when you think you're cooler than anyone and you're 15.
btw Queen, novelty "songs" with no relistenability.

actually, back to the topic;
people who hate popular things simply because they're popular, and they're soooooo indy and too cool for school. especially when it comes to music.

I saw one of Brighton's many vegan hipster cunts buying vegeburgers and a Brewdog IPA in Waitrose, most I've wanted to slap someone all week. Pretty sure he was thinking the same about my basket full of pork steaks.
See you're exactly the same as him, thinking you're better than him because of what you buy. Just buy what you like. Her appeal is that she’s been a staple on mainstream US afternoon TV for about 20 years, which gets the housewife audience. She’s a lesbian, which attracts the gay audience, and she’s a so called comedienne, which probably appeals to everyone.
Saying that though its a bit like getting Sue Perkins to present the BAFTAs
