Anyone had any experience with this?

Worth the money etc? Tempted by the sale, but would still be pushing it price wise.

may well be further reduced in the sales later in the year..

Bout 3/4 months ago the new ones went on sale

Baracuta is now in the safe hands of WP Lavori, who are the same chaps who currently look after such Oi Polloi favourites as Woolrich and Barbour. The Garment Dyed G9 sees a bit of a quality leap from the ones we’ve had in the past, but the mean difference is that it’s undergone the garment-dying treatment for a classic with a twist. Sort of like Coca-Cola with a slice of lemon in it, in jacket form.

Thanks, I was thinking about picking up a G9 last year but didnt go through with it. Wanted to get one now but the price is crazy. Any suitable alternatives to Baracutta?

They moved production to Italy and hired an expensive Japanese designer to rework the brand, who promptly started putting stupid extra pockets all over the bloody jackets. Don't fuck with a classic ffs
