Its one of those items that if I did buy it Id be bored of it next summer. Also by the time it hit the sales it will be way too hot to ever wear it. Its really needed now to get any decent wear out of it.

It's a beautiful jacket but lairy garms like that you can only wear a few times a year. Because they're so memorable, if you wear it even semi-regularly, you will become the "cunt who's always wearing that fruity jacket".

The new Baracuta jackets have some next water resistant thing, liquid slides off it rather than penetrating the fabric. It looks cool, and the fit is much better, but they've priced themselves out of their own market IMO

Did we ever come to a conclusion on a decent high street suede bomber?

The zara one has no suede. It is a decent slim fit but it is thin and the pockets are fake. The H&M one is good quality for the money (and for H&M) although the fit is slightly more 'billowy' than the zara one. Heard mixed things about the asos bomber.

h&m (can't see the 'billowy' as much because i've got my hand in my pocket)

zara
