Looking to finally get some decent sunglasses for this summer and beyond. Only, when it comes to picking a pair, basically every style i like that i've tried on pretty much always look too small for my head. This applies to all the staple shapes wayfarer, club master, etc etc. I was close to pulling the trigger on some han kjobenhavn 'timeless' last year in Berlin but again, when in Soto i tried them on and was left far from impressed with how they looked so didn't bother. Iv'e always just made do with shitty cheap ones tbh because of this, but i guess on the other hand iv'e never really gave it the time of day it needs to get a pair that actually fit correctly in terms of the proportion, and length of the arms.
I like those OP above but without trying them on theres no way i'd risk blowing over a ton on them. Any tips on where i can start for some bigger shades ? Is there a process i should go through ? Or, should i just visit a local shop ?
Also andy, have you stopped making the glasses you posted quite a while back ? I'm sure i read on here that you did adjustments and stuff, would interested in a pair if so mate.

Any decent independent optician should be able to adjust a frame for you, usually for a nominal amount (or even free if you're lucky).
Malik, I haven't had time to sort out any new sunglasses as I've been too busy working for other companies.
You can try on Oliver Peoples frames in David Clulow if you have one near you (
http://www.davidclulow.com/store-finder/). They only stock Luxottica brands but if you're ok with Italian designer brands then they have a decent range.
Trying on frames in a shop is the only way you can really be sure on the fit. Unless you find an online shop that does home trials. Pay attention to the sizing numbers for the frame. A number like 55-17 means the lenses are 55mm across and the distance between the two lenses is 17mm. Depending on how big your head is (no homo) you probably want something 54+ if most frames are too small for you. Did you know there's a large version of the Wayfarer 2140? It's 54-18.

Which are better American Optics or Randolph Engineering, and is there any where over here selling them for reasonable prices?

I don't know much about American Optics but I've seen Randolph Engineering at trade shows and they seem good quality.
American Optics can be bought here -

Question for Andy really, but maybe someone else will know too.
Any thoughts Garrett Leight collabs? Worth the price?

I've not seen any of the collabs in the flesh but the main line stuff looks good. It certainly ticks the right boxes in terms of materials and components.
Whether or not it's worth the extra depends on how much you like the style I suppose. I don't think I've seen any collabs which are majorly different from his main line apart from the Thierry Lasry ones.
What are you thinking of?
