Have a look at Cubitts Charrington in Quartz. They can do blue lenses in store (and maybe if you e-mail them if you're not in London).

Also Kirk Originals Genoa in Smoky, although they have charcoal not blue lenses. An optician would be able to replace the lenses though.

Disclaimer: I designed both of those frames (but I'm not on commission Laughing out loud).

Quite a lot of brands have similar shapes to that at the moment, but finding a pair off the shelf with blue lenses will be trickier.

From the legit thread last month:

selkiefolk wrote: yes. keep losing sunglasses so got slight bargain replacements from them. delivery was two+ weeks, very slow, had to chase, but legit.

andymakesglasses wrote: They seem to be a Spanish company called Intersales Commerce SL (but I don't know them).

Other people have received frames from them recently but whether or not they could tell the difference between a good fake and the real deal you'll perhaps never know.

If it were me I'd probably pay the extra tenner or so for a pair from one of the sites listed in the original post at the top of the sunglasses thread for peace of mind.

Anyone know if this site is legit? https://www.granoptic.com/uk/

Seeing prices under retail, so feels off.

I've not bought a pair of sunglasses in about 15 years, but decided it's time to finally get some this summer after a childhood of sitting on them. Had a nose in TK Maxx in Manc and they all looked shit and many were borderline feminine. And my ocd would probably kick in if I couldn't find a matching case. The only deec pair I could find to my eyes were a pair of prada sport, but then remembered the brand is all but dead.

Any suggestions around the £100 mark, something similar to Oliver Peoples NDC?

Cubitts Ampton aren't a million miles away from the NDGs, a bit less angular, and you won't get better quality for £125 in my (biased) opinion.

Also have a look at Bailey Nelson Tolstoy although I don't know what their quality is like and you'd need to get sun lenses put in them.

Andy - Looking at the Cubitts stuff and they offer a home trial kit kinda like Warby Parker. Any other UK Opticians that offer home kits ?

Opticians or brands?

Opticians (shops) that do it include Eyewear Concierge, Glasses Direct and Mister Spex.

In terms of brands offering home trials Archibald Optics are the only ones I can think of besides Cubitts. I think Scarlett of Soho used to do it but they've gone now.

I'm pretty sure Cutler and Gross do it.
